Plats covered by Historic Southwood Park Homeowner’s Association & Restrictive Covenants
Sections A, B, C, C Ext, D, E, F were all developed at different points in time but are all part of the Historic Southwood Park Homeowner’s Association and are covered by our covenants and bylaws.
Plats Not Covered by Historic Southwood Park Homeowner’s Association or Restrictive Covenants
We have used historical documents to outline why some areas of Historic Southwood Park pay Homeowner’s Association dues and some do not. Those that are not located in dues paying areas do not receive our newsletter or other homeowner’s association benefits. Some of these homeowners have reached out to the Board of Directors and expressed interest in paying dues. Therefore, we are now offering association memberships to these homeowners. If you live in a section that does not currently pay dues and are interested in either a formal annexation to join the homeowner’s association or an associate membership please fill out this form.
Section G / Section G Amended includes 23 homes that have separate covenants that would need amended to be part of the Historic Southwood Park Homeowner’s Association. For more information please see Allen County Recorder document number 2011024458.
Section H includes 11 homes that have separate covenants that would need amended to be part of the Historic Southwood Park Homeowner’s Association. These covenants can be found on page two of the linked document.
Section HH contains 4 homes that are currently not covered by any covenants.
East Old Mill / East Old Mill Ext & West Old Mill were at one time covered by a neighborhood association that has since become defunct. For more information please see Allen County Recorder document 2009016524.
All plats listed above are within the boundaries of the Southwood Park National Historic District.
