Native Garden
In 2020, the Board of Directors made the decision to overhaul one of our pocket gardens and change it to a rain garden using native flowers. We completed this project in 2021 and you can read more about it here.
Redbud Lane
We were awarded a grant from the City of Fort Wayne in 2022 to install a beautiful 6ft park bench and three Eastern Redbud trees.
Park & Play on Arlington Ave
In 2023, we were awarded a grant from the City of Fort Wayne to install 2 four-foot benches, Virginia Bluebells and 6 street trees on the 4700-4800 block of Arligton Avenue.
Reforesting Historic Southwood Park
With the 2024 Neighborhood Improvement Grant Cycle we have requested and been approved for a $5,000.00 grant to acquire 106 new trees to be planted in locations identified by our street tree audit!
