Got Blueprints?

In renovating and waterproofing our basement, we found the original blueprints to our 1942 home! It was a delightful surprise after having lived here for the past 8 years and not previously finding them. Below are scans of what one of the pages looked like before I started it’s digital restoration and the second the progress I’ve made so far. Do you have any of your home’s original documents? We’d love to see them or know more about their contents such as the name of the architect, any dates or other cool features like the construction costs listed on mine! There are local companies and organizations such as ARCH, Inc., Allen County Public Library and ARC Document Solutions that can help you preserve the history of our neighborhood while it’s still in your hands.

We cant wait to see what you’ve got!
