En Plein Air Art Competition to be Held in Foster Park September 30-October 1

Foster Park en Plein Air is a service project to benefit Foster Park and the adjacent St. Mary’s River Greenway.Organized by the Unitarian Universalist Congregation Langhinrichs Gallery Committee this competition is open to artists who work en plein air. Beginning late Friday afternoon, September 30, and continuing the morning of Saturday, October 1, artists work in Foster Park and/or on the Rivergreenway highlighting the area in their work. Artwork will be submitted for competition mid-day Saturday, with awards announced at the reception later that afternoon.The public is encouraged to watch the artists at work, attend the reception, and participate in the silent auction at the Langhinrichs Gallery Saturday afternoon.
