46807 Quality of Life "Appreciative Inquiry" Training to be Held on August 6th

From the 46807 Quality of Life group:
The first session, at 10am, will be about the Appreciative Inquiry interview process. You'll have time to interact, ask questions, learn a little about the initiative and, in a practice interview, get to know what others like about 46807 and offer ideas of whatwould make it even better.  The intent is that you will interview others in 46807 to hear their ideas and hopes.
The second session, at 1pm, will be about how to convey the initiative to others. This effort is very inclusive and open; the planning comes from the people of 46807 and we want to hear from as many people as possible.  Conveying the opportunity to others is very important because broad input will make it happen.
In the fall, we'll have our second Open Space Summit where people of 46807 will have an opportunity to present the ideas which will have come from themselves and the conversations they have had.  Those interested in the various ideas will form working groups (still at the Summit) to make them happen.  From this, the Steering Committee will craft a comprehensive Quality of Life plan and work to secure funding and offer support where needed.
