Tox Away Day - Saturday September 24

Join ACDEM and the City of Fort Wayne for Tox-Away Saturday! Allen County Residents can visit 2260 Carroll Road between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. to responsibly dispose of household hazardous waste. Fees apply.

Chalk Your Walk &

Cheer Section

Friday September 30, 2022 - 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM - Decorate the street with fun chalk art and sayings to keep runners motivated as they pass through Southwood Park.

Saturday October 1, 2022 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM- Walk on over to our designated cheer sections on S. Wayne & Sherwood Terrace. Bring a chair, BYOB and bring a breakfast snack to share.

Fall DUMPSTER DAY - Saturday October 8!

From 7:00 AM - Noon or until the dumpster is full.

This is the perfect time to get rid of excess trash taking up space in your basement or garage as you do your spring cleaning. It is also a great opportunity to get rid of large or bulky items.

This program is free to us, so we need to make sure we’re adhering to their guidelines. Please remember that the dumpster is operated on a first-come-first-served basis.

Fall Block Party: Sunday October 9!

Sunday October 9, 2022 from 1 PM - 4 PM

We will have: Storytime, Pumpkin Carving & Decorating, Bubbles & Chalk and more!

Bring your own pumpkin and a chair, we will have snacks to share!

Plus, this park strip is set up like a small race track, so have the kids bike or scooter over!

Rain date is set for Sunday October 23, 2022
