The Refuge

UPDATE January 19, 2025

At the November hearing, after 90 minutes of discussion and public comment, the board of zoning appeals voted to keep the hearing open until the January meeting. This allowed the community to have more time to learn about the proposal. During that time, the Packard Area Planning Alliance provided a letter of support for the Refuge. Historic Southwood Park also submitted a letter of support. At the January hearing, the board of zoning appeals approved The Refuge’s use variance request in a 4-1 vote.
