Tacoma Ave Micro Grants

As part of our street tree audit, we discovered that there are approximately three (3) blocks of Tacoma Ave that have park strips too narrow to allow for the planting of street trees. Because of this, the Board of Directors unanimously voted to provide 10 $50 reimbursements per year to residents of these blocks who wish to purchase and plant a tree in their front yards. The requirements of this program are as follows:

  • The tree must be planted in your front yard.

  • You must provide a before photo and after photo.

  • Receipt for the tree.

  • You must live at one of the addresses highlighted in green on this map.

This program is operated on a first come first served basis. Please email your questions or reimbursement documents to hello@historicsouthwoodpark.com.
