Pet Etiquette

It's a neighborhood tradition: the yearly reminder about pet pick-up.DOGS:  It's nice out. More and more folks are out for walks.  And so, more and more of you are noticing dog poop.  Those of you who have dogs should remember to always carry a plastic bag to pick up after your dogs.  Please! If you have a habitual offender, a well-timed picture can be taken (even through a window) and sent to Animal Care and Control.  Fines could possibly be assessed.CATS:  Please keep your cats indoors.  Roaming cats have a habit of using neighbor's flower beds as litter boxes.  Your neighbors might like your cats, but still may not want them in their yard or porch.  Live cat traps are available from Animal Care and Control.Animal Care and Control can be reached at 427-1244 or 311.
