Fifth District Forum to be held on April 27th for City Council candidates

The 5th District City Council seat is wide open. Running in the Democratic primary on May 3rd are Richard Cline, Dennis Ferguson, Maye Johnson and Geoff Paddock. The winner will face Republican candidate Ben Hall in the fall election. All candidates have been invited to a forum to answer voters’ questions. Please join us:April 27th, 7PM, Eicher Student Commons, Taylor University campus, 837 West Rudisill Boulevard.You can submit questions for the forum beforehand. Think of the issues before us: use of the rivers, the separation of our sewer systems, street repairs, the Ash Borer problem, downtown redevelopment, the Legacy Fund, neighborhood issues, the new city hall, public transit, economic development. Each candidate will have one minute to answer each question.
